This teaser for Twin Peaks Season 3 is the best thing you’ll see today

Four words. That’s all it takes to completely shatter our expectation levels (in the best possible way) for the upcoming third season of Twin Peaks. That, and the sight of Kyle MacLachlan smashing his face into a mirror…

Heck, just a clip of David Lynch eating a doughnut to Angelo Badalamenti’s iconic score was enough to make us giddy with excitement, but now we’ve finally been treated to a proper glimpse of Agent Dale Cooper’s long-awaited return – and it’s even more brilliantly bonkers than we’d hoped.

Lynch and Mark Frost, the show’s creators, have been keeping everything about Season 3 tightly under wraps ahead of the season premiere on 21 May. With just a few agonising months left to wait, US network Showtime have apparently decided it’s time for the hint-dropping to stop and the fun to start. The message is clear enough: it is happening again.
