Michael Shan­non plays a des­per­ate father on the run in Jeff Nichols’ upcom­ing super­nat­ur­al thriller. 

With Shot­gun Sto­ries, Take Shel­ter and Mud, Jeff Nichols qui­et­ly estab­lished him­self as one of the most excit­ing film­mak­ers work­ing in Amer­i­ca right now. By the look of things, he’s not about to let any­one down with his fourth fea­ture – and fourth col­lab­o­ra­tion with the great Michael Shan­non – which EOne have just released an intrigu­ing if spoiler‑y first teas­er for. Any­one else get­ting seri­ous Spiel­berg vibes?
