The most antic­i­pat­ed TV event of next year drops the best teas­er of 2016.

In a scene rem­i­nis­cent of Macaulay Culkin’s infa­mous piz­za eat­ing moment from 2013, David Lynch munch­es on a dough­nut to the sound­track of Twin Peaks in this pecu­liar teas­er trail­er for the high-antic­i­pat­ed third sea­son of the cult show. You are wit­ness­ing a front three-quar­ter view of one adult and a dough­nut shar­ing a ten­der moment in a man­ner only Lynch could pull off.

Reviv­ing his role as Region­al Bureau Chief of the FBI, Gor­don Cole, the short 30-sec­ond clip sees Lynch eat­ing the town’s favourite sug­ar-based snack in lieu of any actu­al footage from the show – but who cares, you’re going to watch it any­way so take anoth­er look, sonny!
