A man with a beard wearing glasses and a red jacket.
The American writer/director discusses his nightmarish new horror.

Following the Oscar-winning success of Get Out, Jordan Peele is back with another nerve-shredding American horror story. Set in and around the San Fransisco Bay Area, Us is part home invasion chiller, part doppelgänger mystery – with a clear nod to one of the old masters of the genre.

To celebrate the film’s theatrical release, we sat down with the writer/director to talk about reinterpreting two classic Alfred Hitchcock films with a black cast, the first time he remembers being scared in the cinema as a kid, and his formative VHS obsessions.

Peele also reveals how he would react if he suddenly came face to face with his mirror image. Check out the full interview below and see Us in cinemas from 22 March.
