There’s a touch of old Hollywood about the first official teaser for Harry Potter director David Yates’ Tarzan movie-with-a-twist. The action-packed jungle epic stars Alexander Skarsgård as the eponymous man-ape, Margot Robbie as Jane, Christoph Waltz as Belgian expedition leader Leon Rom, with Samuel L Jackson, John Hurt and Djimon Hounsou adding support.
Flipping the legend on its head, the plot sees a gentrified John Clayton III (née Tarzan) leave London behind to serve as a trade emissary of the Congolese Parliament, unaware that he’s a pawn in a wicked plot.
