Patrick Stew­art plays a skin­head punk bar pro­pri­etor in writer/​director Jere­my Saulnier’s latest.

A down-and-dirty Ore­gon road­house is the venue for Blue Ruin direc­tor Jere­my Saulnier’s grip­ping back­woods thriller, which stars Anton Yelchin, Imo­gen Poots, Macon Blair and Patrick Stew­art in a deli­cious­ly against-type role as a neo-Nazi bar owner.

Green Room is a film punc­tu­at­ed by moments of dark humour and bru­tal vio­lence, but the tone set by this first UK trail­er is one of ten­sion-build­ing restraint. Give it a watch and let us know your thoughts @LWLies
