Golden boy Eddie Redmayne plays Newt Scamander in this hotly-anticipated Harry Potter spin-off.

Can you believe the Harry Potter franchise was last on our screens back in 2011? If you’re reading this having spent the last four years hiding under an invisibility cloak, now is the time to emerge because Warner Bros have just dropped a first-look teaser for a new spin-off movie.

Based on JK Rowling’s 2001 tie-in novel, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is directed by HP alumni David Yates and stars Eddie Redmayne as magizoologist Newt Scamander, who arrives in New York having completed a global excursion to discover and document as array of magical creatures.

We’ve already caught an early glimpse at some on-set stills, but this trailer has got us even more excited at the prospect of being spirited away to the wizarding world again. Check it out and share your thoughts with us @LWLies

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is released 18 November, 2016.
