Take part in our latest creative brief as inspired by Olivier Assayas’ Personal Shopper.

Kristen Stewart is fast becoming an icon of modern cinema, and her latest performance in Personal Shopper confirms her as one of most interesting and daring actors out there. To celebrate the film’s UK theatrical release on 17 March, we’re setting a new creative brief inspired by director Olivier Assayas’ latest.

In the film Stewart plays an American in Paris who divides her time between picking up high fashion for her ultra demanding boss and mourning the loss of her brother by attempting to psychically commune with his ghost.

For this brief, we’d like you to create a fashion magazine and put your own illustrated portrait of Kristen Stewart on the cover. The magazine shouldn’t be an existing brand – we want you to invent your own, and extra marks will be awarded for overall layout and attention to detail.

Your design can have a contemporary feel or capture a vintage fashion magazine style but it must be entirely original. We’ve included a selection of reference images of Stewart in Personal Shopper and the film’s official trailer below to help spark your imagination.

The prize for one overall winner is a print of your winning design plus two tickets to see Personal Shopper at your nearest UK cinema on its opening weekend of release. The winner will be chosen by our in-house design team and will be featured in an online gallery after the competition has closed.

All entries must be produced at A4 portrait (210 x 297 mm) size. Submit your design with the subject line ‘Personal Shopper creative brief’ to competitions@tcolondon.com. The deadline for entries is midnight on Monday 13 March.

Please remember to include your full name so we know who to credit. You can also send us your entry via Twitter or Instagram by tagging @LWLies, but be sure to email us a hi-res version of your entry as well. Good luck!
