Showtime A‑holes… yep, barely two years have passed since James Gunn delivered his big, brassy space adventure (with mild swears!) and, even though expectations were muted, the film flew off like a rocket. Now, the crazy kids are back with more alien fighting, comic banter and, yes, mild swears, with a story that takes place just two months after the original. Rumour has it that Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord takes his merry band out in the universe to collect some more info – Skywalker-style – on the true nature of his fams. This new trailer hints that this sequel has taken the tried-and-tested template and replicated it to the letter. 17 May 2017 is when we’ll find out how true that is.
