Brie Larson gets caught in the crossfire in this NSFW first look at the director’s period crime drama.

“Why doesn’t everybody just calm the fuck down!” screams Brie Larson in the beardy, sweary, lung-bustingly violent first trailer for writer/​director Ben Wheatley’s hotly anticipated latest, Free Fire.

Set in the late 1970s somewhere in Boston, the film primarily takes place in an abandoned warehouse where Larson’s broker has set up a meeting between Irish gangsters (Cillian Murphy, Michael Smiley) and a pair of skittish gun traders (Sharlto Copley and Armie Hamer). Suffice to say, the deal doesn’t down as planned.
