The Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me soundtrack is being reissued on cherry pie’ vinyl

A must-have treat for fans of David Lynch’s cult film.

Of all the reasons to be cheerful in 2017 (we’ve listed a few of them here), the return of Twin Peaks is perhaps the most tantalising prospect. But before the long-awaited third season of David Lynch’s cult show airs this spring (a leaked Showtime calendar suggests 30 April as the exact date), the director’s somewhat contentious 1992 prequel – which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year – is set for a theatrical re-run in the US.

Better still, a newly remastered version of Angelo Badalamenti’s haunting soundtrack is being reissued on 25 January – as a 180-gram cherry pie” red double LP no less. The groovy folk over at Death Waltz records know a thing or too about reissuing classic vinyl, and this damn fine looking release, featuring original artwork by Sam Smith, is a must-have for fans.
