We don’t know about you, but we’re still low-key obsessed with Gre­ta Gerwig’s solo direc­to­r­i­al debut, Lady Bird, the bit­ter­sweet yet ulti­mate­ly life-affirm­ing sto­ry of a Sacra­men­to teen (Saoirse Ronan) just try­ing to be her best self.

To cel­e­brate the film’s arrival on DVD and Blu-ray next month, we’ve man­aged to snag an exclu­sive pre­view of one of the charm­ing behind-the-scenes fea­turettes includ­ed on the home ents release.

The scene in ques­tion con­cerns Lady Bird’s ear­ly meet-cute with clean-cut boy-next-door, Dan­ny, played by Lucas Hedges. Watch­ing it, you real­ly get a sense of the relaxed, play­ful atmos­phere Ger­wig cre­at­ed on set, as she directs the pair frol­ick­ing around a rose garden.
