MUBI and LWLies present Hitchcock’s sublime chiller, Dial M for Murder, at London’s Rio Cinema.

Readers of this website are probably too young to remember the salad days of when every film on general release was presented in 3D. Well, the comeback starts here, as we’re teaming up with MUBI and Dalston’s wonderful Rio Cinema to present Alfred Hitchcock’s 1954 nerve-jangler, Dial M for Murder, in its newly restored 3D version.

This screening is presented in tandem with MUBI’s Alfred Hitchcock: A Ticking Bomb season, which offers a survey of some of the master of suspense’s slightly lesser-known later work. So once you’ve caught Dial M… with us on the big screen, head to MUBI to catch the single-set, single-take stunner, Rope, the masterful psychological thriller Marnie, or the scabrously seedy serial killer yarn, Frenzy.

The film screens at the Rio Cinema in Dalston on Saturday 22 September at 1pm.

All ticket holders will also receive a bespoke, limited edition poster print which has been created for this screening by regular LWLies collaborator, Lola Beltrán.

Book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets available here.

Alfred Hitchcock: A Ticking Bomb runs on MUBI from Sept 1.
