If you’re feeling blue about the fact Phantom Thread is still two months away from a UK release, then the latest PTA announcement will cheer you up. The renowned US filmmaker has announced a special tour in collaboration with distributor Park Circus, showing five films from his back catalogue at independent cinemas across the country on glorious 35mm.

The line-up includes Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Punch-Drunk Love, There Will be Blood and Inherent Vice, and will begin in Dublin on 4 January, 2018. The prints will go on to visit other cities including London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and Bristol before the tour concludes in mid-February.

That’s plenty to tide us over until Phantom Thread arrives on 2 February.
