Inspired by Huck’s lat­est short film, here are our all-time favourite moments where a shark chews more than the scenery.

If movies have taught us any­thing, it’s that sharks are relent­less killing machines. As a coun­ter­point, our sib­ling mag, Huck, trav­elled to Jupiter, Flori­da, to meet a man who swims with sharks every day – even bring­ing his mum along – and has nev­er been attacked. Bryce Rohrer’s no-cage rela­tion­ship with the sharks is like Chris Pratt’s rap­tor wran­gler in Juras­sic World – he gets close enough to pet the preda­tors, but advis­es not turn­ing your back on them.

Inspired by Rohrer’s finny friends, we’ve com­piled a run down of our all-time favourite shark movies scenes. Check them out below along­side Huck’s three-minute video – direct­ed by surfer Mikey DeTem­ple and fea­tur­ing Nation­al Geo­graph­ic explor­er Cory Richards to pro­mote Finlandia’s work with 1% For The Planet.
