Following suit, this June a Star Wars pop-up restaurant called The Fork Awakens will open in London for a limited engagement. These ventures are (hopefully) the start of a trend towards culinary interpretations of some of the world’s most beloved directors and movies and to celebrate, we’re offering you a place at our table. Now taking bookings…

Sydney’s premier seafood restaurant, where clownfish is always in season. For all you recovering carnivores managing to stick to your Fish Are Friends’ programme, sustainably farmed sea cumbers and molluscs are also on the menu. Where possible all ingredients are locally sourced by Bob’s Fish Mart.

The on ice’ model is employed here to bring you a selection of truly mouthwatering dishes, delivered to your table with a slap shot. No pizza ovens, but instead open freezers allow you to watch the Quack Quack’ ice cream special solidify during your first two courses.

This one is for adventurous foodies only. You don’t reserve a table but a prison cell, with only a rendering of the Duomo as seen from the Belvedere to distract you from the… exotic” food. Top tip: if you prefer your side salad ungarnished best to avoid being seated next to the Multiple Miggs cell.

Ever considered digesting your food digitally? In New York’s first paperless eatery, we send you ironic emails describing your foods flavours. And watch out, because that handsome be-scarfed man at the window might be the man of your dreams, @Logcutter92.

A trendy new breakfast joint exclusively serving up the finest smoked Scottish salmon. There are mint juleps to drink and no shortage of stimulating conversation to be had with the affable MOD squad regulars.

Ever dreamt of sampling the world’s most dangerous game? In this open air street dinner you can do just that. Served on a deserted Westminster Bridge and prepared on the fly, this immersive dinning experience is the perfect choice for when you need to grab a quick bite. If you do manage to stay off the menu long enough to reach us, we also provide a you kill it, we cook it’ option.
