In the latest instalment of our weekly video review show, Clarisse Loughrey brings Robert Zemeckis’ vertigo-inducing drama, The Walk, back down to earth. Inspired by the death-defying exploits of French high-wire artist Philippe Petit – as previously documented in James Marsh’s Man on Wire – this Joseph Gordon-Levitt vehicle turns the movie going experience into a theme park ride, which is not as fun as it sounds.
