We don’t know about you, but we’re still low-key obsessed with Greta Gerwig’s solo directorial debut, Lady Bird, the bittersweet yet ultimately life-affirming story of a Sacramento teen (Saoirse Ronan) just trying to be her best self.

To celebrate the film’s arrival on DVD and Blu-ray next month, we’ve managed to snag an exclusive preview of one of the charming behind-the-scenes featurettes included on the home ents release.

The scene in question concerns Lady Bird’s early meet-cute with clean-cut boy-next-door, Danny, played by Lucas Hedges. Watching it, you really get a sense of the relaxed, playful atmosphere Gerwig created on set, as she directs the pair frolicking around a rose garden.

Check out the below clip and see for yourself, and look out for Lady Bird on Digital and on DVD and Blu-ray from 2 July.
