Agathe Rousselle delivered a breakout performance for the ages in Julia Ducournau’s Palme d’Or-winning Titane, which bewitched us so much we made a whole issue dedicated to its perverse delights. To celebrate the film’s premiere on streaming platform MUBI on March 16th, we’ve teamed up with our friends over there to challenge all artists with our latest creative brief.
For this brief, we’d like you to send us an original illustrated portrait of Agathe Rousselle as Alexa, incorporating some element of or drawing inspiration from the film’s mechanical imagery. We’re looking for unique, original takes on this portrait – extra marks for innovation. Your entry can be as simple or as intricate as you like, but it must incorporate at least one of the following colours:
To help get you started, we’ve embedded the official UK trailer and MUBI’s poster below.
The winner will receive a £250 tattoo voucher from Sophie Mo (who created our Titane issue’s cover!), plus one year’s subscription to MUBI GO. In the event the winner cannot use the tattoo voucher, it can be used to redeem a custom print from Sophie instead. Four runners-up will each win a year’s subscription to MUBI.
All entries must be produced at A3 portrait (297 x 420 mm) size. Submit your design with the subject line ‘Titane creative brief’ to competitions@tcolondon.com. The deadline for entries is midnight on 14th March 2022.
You can also send us your entry via Twitter or Instagram by tagging @LWLies, but be sure to email us a hi-res version of your entry as well. Please remember to include your full name so we know who to credit.Good luck!
Titane is streaming exclusively on MUBI from March 16. Get 30 days free at mubi.com/littlewhitelies.
