Watch David Lynch eat a doughnut to the Twin Peaks soundtrack

In a scene reminiscent of Macaulay Culkin’s infamous pizza eating moment from 2013, David Lynch munches on a doughnut to the soundtrack of Twin Peaks in this peculiar teaser trailer for the high-anticipated third season of the cult show. You are witnessing a front three-quarter view of one adult and a doughnut sharing a tender moment in a manner only Lynch could pull off.

Reviving his role as Regional Bureau Chief of the FBI, Gordon Cole, the short 30-second clip sees Lynch eating the town’s favourite sugar-based snack in lieu of any actual footage from the show – but who cares, you’re going to watch it anyway so take another look, sonny!

Twin Peaks airs on Showtime in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK.
